Lucky Hunter

Lucky Hunter provided recruitment services for Tofu, a business management company. They were hired for tech staff recruitment and executive search, specifically to find a Head of Performance Marketing for Tofu's app. The process required finding someone with extensive experience in mobile apps, subscription-based monetization, managing large ad budgets, and working with Tier-1 markets. The search lasted about five months, with Lucky Hunter’s commitment, persistence, and strategic approach being instrumental in finding the right person. The team from Lucky Hunter was proactive throughout the process, providing valuable market insights and helping Tofu adjust their approach and broaden their candidate pool.

For the AI software company, Agentplace, Inc., Lucky Hunter was tasked with finding a Founding Engineer who could combine senior-level full-stack development with deep expertise in large language models. After realizing the combination of skills was hard to find, Lucky Hunter suggested splitting the role into two: a Senior Fullstack Developer and an ML/LLM Engineer. They took ownership of the search process, screening candidates, running technical assessments, and managing communication. Eventually, they successfully filled four positions, building the foundation of Agentplace's technical team in just a few weeks.

Lucky Hunter worked with Besample, a data marketplace for research beyond the West, to recruit for a senior engineering position. The team created a candidate pipeline, prescreened candidates, scheduled interviews, and provided recruiting, staffing, and HR services reports. Initially, the search was for a senior professional who could grow into a CTO role. However, due to changes in the company, the search expanded to include both a founding engineer and a senior Python developer. After the founding role was filled, the focus shifted to hiring a senior Python developer. The project with Besample started in April 2025 and was successfully closed in June 2025.
