Highlights from Recent Projects
Luby Software collaborated with Sebrae, a company that supports micro and small businesses in Brazil, to craft a unique, entrepreneurial game with augmented virtual reality. Selected based on their high ratings, geographic proximity, and company value alignment, Luby Software's team of 6-10 employees developed "Master of Business". The game, mirroring the mechanics of Beat Saber, required players to "cut" through the day-to-day challenges of entrepreneurship. The project stages included presenting the proposal, squad sizing, contract signing, kickoff, and continuous development and delivery, culminating in the successful launch of the game.
For the payment solutions company, Online IPS, Luby Software was tasked with developing custom software. The company needed a software development partner capable of building a system from scratch. Luby Software assembled two parallel squads, consisting of 5-7 members each, including a project manager, backend developer, coordinators, managers, and developers. The project, which started in August 2023, is still ongoing and so far, Online IPS has invested $500,000 in it. Luby Software has demonstrated their commitment to understanding and meeting the client's needs.
In a project with a consumer services company, Luby Software was hired to implement a mobile app and other custom solutions from the ground up. The mobile app, developed with React Native for both iOS and Android devices, features geolocation and NFC technology integration. The project, which started in September 2023, is expected to be completed by March 2024. The team, consisting of a technical coordinator, two backend developers, and two frontend developers, has also developed the backend using Node.js and Next.js, and has worked on updating the Figma designs. The project has so far cost around $200,000. The Luby team has demonstrated adaptability and efficiency, ensuring the project is on track for its expected completion date.
