Loon Games

Loon Games was commissioned by a startup app company to develop a mobile game based on a Dutch variation of chess. The founder noted that the game required unique controls that had not been created before, a task that Loon Games successfully accomplished. The entire development of the game, from the interface to the design, was handled by Loon Games, with the original game costing $8,000. However, the game was not as successful as hoped, with the average user finding the levels too difficult, leading to ongoing updates to simplify gameplay. The game took approximately 10 weeks to complete and was available by May 11, 2015.

In another project, Loon Games worked with online gaming company Games2win to refurbish many online games. The aim was to improve the in-game creative, gameplay bug fixes, and overall improvement in the gameplay. The project involved the refurbishment and re-release of numerous games on a weekly basis, all created in Adobe Flash. Loon Games also independently improved gameplay with minimal input from Games2win. The project cost was around $10,000, with each game taking about eight to ten days to refurbish and release.
