Loon Games

Loon Games was hired by a startup app company to develop a mobile game based on a Dutch variation of chess. The founder and CEO of the company needed a game developed that had unique controls not typically used in other games developed with Unity. Loon Games was responsible for the complete development of the game including the interface, designs, and all other features. Despite initial challenges understanding the game concept and having to restart the project, Loon Games completed the project in approximately 10 weeks at a cost of $8,000. The game was made available on May 11, 2015. However, the game was not as successful as hoped due to its high difficulty level, leading to further updates and simplifications.

In another project, Loon Games was contracted by Games2win, an online gaming company, to refurbish many of their online games. The goal was to improve in-game creative, fix gameplay bugs, and improve overall gameplay. The games were made in Adobe Flash and were refurbished and re-released at a frequency of one game per week. Loon Games also made gameplay improvements independently. The project, which cost around $10,000, was completed within a timeline of eight to ten days per game.
