Lofty

Lofty was hired by a data analytics SaaS business to enhance a cloud solution for increased availability and scalability. The client required a message queue that would seamlessly operate between the frontend web server and the solver cores. Lofty took charge of the web server application stacks and DevOps, migrating an existing algorithm and Flask web server to Django. They also set up the message queuing system, which improved performance and allowed for high availability. The team, led by Casey, the founder and CEO of Lofty, integrated well with the client's team, and they continue to work together on the project.

The results of Lofty's involvement have been highly positive. They managed to expose the algorithm to a larger customer base and more simultaneous users in a stable and reliable manner. The deployment process for updating the application was also solidified. The client, who had previously worked with Casey, was pleased with the team's performance and capabilities. The ongoing project, which began in May 2015, has so far seen an investment of between $100,000 and $200,000 from the client.
