Livewire Technologies

Livewire Technologies successfully completed an Open Text implementation and support project for a medium-sized general practice law firm. The project involved the transition from the PCDOCS product to Open Text's more current DM product. Livewire executed the project remotely, providing a detailed plan and ensuring smooth execution. The project was completed in a month, with Livewire remaining available for support calls for weeks after the project completion in July or August 2011. The law firm praised Livewire for its knowledge of the product and efficient setup, and for providing better training than the company they initially hired for this purpose.

Livewire Technologies also completed a Hummingbird project for a labor law firm representing labor unions and workers. The project involved updating the firm's document management system and desktops to Windows 7 and Office 2010. Livewire was involved from the beginning to the end, providing support for the DM, setting up a schedule, building new servers, and converting documents from the old database to the new one. The project, which was completed in October 2012, also included the implementation of a Nuance PDF converter. The law firm applauded Livewire for its involvement and support throughout the project.

In another project, Livewire Technologies facilitated a document management implementation for a law firm merger. The project involved the merging of two different law firms, one of which already had a document management system. Livewire was involved in the entire process, from installation and network upgrades to importing documents. The project, which was completed about ten years ago, involved importing close to a terabyte of data and installing it on 75 to 100 workstations. The law firm praised Livewire for its efficiency and the time saved due to their involvement.
