Lineo Engineering

Lineo Engineering was contracted by Infresh, a food-tech startup, to develop a functional prototype for an automated salad and fresh bowl dispensing system. The project was carried out by three members of the Lineo team, including the Managing Director, who coordinated the project and developed the mechanical system, and two other members who worked on the mechanical design and integration of the prototype. The project involved a classical setup from concept to realization, leveraging AGILE methodologies. The client was pleased with Lineo's broad engineering capabilities, experience with startups, and prototyping capabilities.

In another project, Lineo Engineering worked with a manufacturing company to develop, produce and maintain a manufacturing machine. The team, comprising the CEO, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing specialists, collaborated with the client to build the concept and design the prototype of the machine's electrical and mechanical engineering components. Lineo was also in charge of the entire production facility, including quality assurance, licensing, and product sourcing. The client found Lineo online and was impressed by their combination of quality and price.

For a management consulting company, Lineo Engineering provided research and development and engineering services for product development. The project involved Lineo helping the client with mechanical and electrical engineering services, product design, and the development of a print design for manufacturing documents. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lineo also helped the client determine how to use the UV spectrum to reduce bacteria on objects. The client, who found Lineo on Upwork, was impressed with their problem-solving skills and hired them after they outperformed other companies in a test problem. The client invested between $10,000 and $20,000 in the project.
