Lineo Engineering

Lineo Engineering was hired by Infresh, a food-tech startup, to develop a functional prototype for their first automation solution - a salad and fresh bowl dispensing system. Lineo was selected for their wide-ranging engineering capabilities, startup experience, and prototyping skills. The project followed the classical setup from concept to realization, using an AGILE framework. Three resources from Lineo, including the Managing Director, worked on coordinating the project and developing the mechanical system for the prototype.

For a manufacturing company, Lineo Engineering provided product development services. They collaborated with the client to build a concept and design a prototype for the manufacturing machine's electrical and mechanical engineering components. Following successful prototyping, Lineo took charge of the entire production facility, including QA, licensing, component sourcing, and ongoing maintenance. The team comprised of 8-9 people, including the CEO, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing specialists. The collaboration, which began in January 2020, continues to this day.

Lineo Engineering was engaged by a management consulting company to assist with product development. The scope of their involvement included mechanical and electrical engineering services, research and development, and product design. Lineo also provided scientific outlines on product use for a variety of products, including a solution for reducing bacteria on objects using the UV spectrum during the COVID-19 pandemic. Three team members from Lineo, including project managers and engineers, were involved in the project. The collaboration, which began in June 2020, continues to be ongoing. The client has invested between $10,000 and $20,000 in this engagement.
