Light-it

Light-it partnered with an imaging and decision support software company to develop the backend and infrastructure of their product. The company, which specializes in risk detection and care coordination to prevent wounds and amputations in people with diabetes, already had an MVP version of their app. Light-it successfully transitioned the app from the beta version to the market product using FastAPI. The collaboration began in November 2022 and is ongoing, with the development project completed and other projects in the pipeline. The partnership has been productive, with the client praising Light-it's engineering team for their expertise and dedication.

In another project, Light-it was contracted by Zebra Telehealth to build a dashboard for school telehealth administrators. The goal was to create a tool that would enable easy management of student and staff schedules. Light-it, recommended for their high ratings and alignment with Zebra Telehealth's company values, assigned a team of 2-5 employees to the task. The result was a custom school dashboard that seamlessly interacts with an existing API, providing a streamlined and efficient solution for the client.

Light-it also collaborated with Composure, a company that delivers personalized soundscapes to senior living communities in the US to aid memory-impaired residents' sleep. The project involved building an MVP for Composure. The process was divided into two phases: product discovery and product development. In the first phase, Light-it worked closely with the client to determine the form and function of the product based on the vision and customer needs. This phase resulted in user flow and system design diagrams, frontend UI design sketches, and product development budgets. The second phase involved translating these deliverables into a working MVP, incorporating various AWS services and applications, creating a custom local server program running on a Linux server, developing a frontend interface (web portal), managing backend database and user accounts, and integrating hardware partner's APIs. The client praised Light-it for their high ratings, budget-friendly pricing, great cultural fit, and the value they provided for the cost.
