Highlights from Recent Projects
LiftUp was hired by Sammy Tippit Ministries (STM), a Christian non-profit, to create an educational platform for the Digital Bible Institute. The platform was designed to transcend borders and language barriers, with a focus on practicality and accountability. LiftUp was chosen for their systematic approach and understanding of cross-cultural issues. The project began with several interviews to outline objectives and unique features, followed by the implementation phase, which involved the CEO, a project manager, and several engineers and graphic design personnel. The project was successful, meeting all the objectives set out by STM.
LiftUp collaborated with a Leeds-based IT and Recycling company to develop two new websites - an information site and an ecommerce site. The vendor was chosen based on word of mouth and their ability to understand the client's business. The project was divided into stages, with timelines set for each stage. LiftUp developed a unique feature for the website, embracing the challenge of creating something new. The team consisted of 5 or 6 employees, with one senior point of contact. The project was completed successfully, with excellent communication and adherence to timelines.
LiftUp was engaged by a software development agency to augment their IT staff. The decision to hire LiftUp was based on a referral and the need for additional developers. LiftUp provided project management, QA, and DevOps services, using Node.js to develop web and mobile applications to track carrier shipments. The applications tracked trucks delivering goods throughout the US. The team included developers, QA specialists, and DevOps specialists. The partnership, which began in February 2018, has been successful, with an investment of about $300,000.
