Life Elixir provided data leveraging and consulting services to Cryoport, a cold chain logistics agency focusing on biopharmaceuticals, animal health, and IVF services. The work started in June 2020 and is ongoing. The goal of the engagement was to understand how to use data to extract useful insights and reduce the manual labor involved in troubleshooting. The collaboration has been directly with the owner of Life Elixir, who was initially hired as an independent consultant through a third-party agency.
Life Elixir worked with a medical device distributor to create a time series model for a product that collects real-time data. The collaboration took place from May to June 2018. The company provided Life Elixir with sample readings, and Life Elixir developed a mathematical model and analyzed the time series based on these readings. They created an AI software to implement in their model and provide a score. The project cost the medical device distributor $1,000, and there may be further work for Life Elixir pending third-party product testing.
