Life Elixir was engaged by Cryoport, a cold chain logistics agency, to provide data leveraging and consulting services. The aim was to better understand how to make use of the company's data to reduce manual labor hours spent on troubleshooting or preventing issues. The partnership started in June 2020 and is ongoing. The director of Cryoport only works with the owner of Life Elixir, who was initially hired through a third-party agency before expressing a desire to work as an independent consultant through Life Elixir.
In another project, Life Elixir was hired by a medical device distributor to develop an AI model for their real-time data collection product. The company needed a time series model to make sense of the data collected every 60 seconds. Life Elixir was provided with sample readings from the company's tools, and they created a mathematical model and analyzed time series based on these readings. The model was then fortified in Python to plug into the company's draft platform. The engagement, which cost $1,000, took place from May to June 2018. Further work may be required if third-party testing indicates that the product needs calibration.
