LibreWorks was hired by a custom software and cloud solutions company to help with the development of a web application for a client. The goal of the project was to monitor student teams and their leaders in a building using indoor location hardware. LibreWorks was chosen due to an existing relationship and their expertise in web and Java development. They were tasked with cleaning up the code, finishing the software, and providing an external view on past performance. Despite working remotely, LibreWorks was able to effectively contribute to the project using an agile Scrum methodology. The team consisted of a Scrum master, backend and frontend developers, and quality assurance personnel.
In another project, LibreWorks collaborated with an IT consultancy, Vitamin R, to design and implement a Confluence add-on for a customer. The aim was to facilitate easy access to screenshots and images in multiple languages for the user documentation of the after-sales service consulting IT systems. LibreWorks was selected for their software quality, reliability, and flexibility, traits the client was familiar with from previous collaborations. LibreWorks was entirely responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and launch of the modules. The team assigned to this project was occasionally assisted by another employee.
