Highlights from Recent Projects
Lead IT was hired by a wholesale coffee roasting company to develop a mobile app for a loyalty program. The goal was to create a user-friendly system that would enable a paperless retail environment. The company director worked closely with two members of the Lead IT team throughout the project. The app was successfully created, edited, and designed to the satisfaction of the coffee roasting company.
The mobile application development project manager hired Lead IT for cross-platform application development. The goal was to develop a mobile app with a modern intuitive design that provides custom audio tours from guides around the world. Lead IT was chosen over nine other candidates due to their previous experience and excellent communication skills. The team, which included a project manager, developers, and UX designers, successfully developed the application as per the project manager's expectations.
The founder and director of RaRaRe.com, a platform that facilitates collaboration between people and relevant authorities in African communities, engaged Lead IT to provide functionality to their platform. The task involved refactoring APIs on the backend, building the frontend with PHP, and the backend with Laravel. The platform was both web and mobile-enabled. The Lead IT team, which varied from 2 to 5 people depending on the project phase, also helped re-engineer and rebuild the mobile app for iOS and Android. The client expressed satisfaction with the work done by Lead IT, especially their ability to address challenges with quality, delivery time, and synchronization. The engagement, which began in March 2018, is ongoing and has so far cost between $25,000–$50,000.
