Lazy Ants successfully developed a mobile-friendly platform for an online mortgage broker. The project was initiated to transform the traditional and challenging mortgage process in Australia into an entirely online experience. Lazy Ants was responsible for the development of the entire website, the technology stack, and an AI mortgage robot using Node.js and the IBM Watson Conversation engine for natural language processing. The AI robot was designed to qualify potential customers and gather necessary information for loan application. The team comprised of full stack developers, a frontend developer, a project manager, and a technology lead, working alongside a UX expert from the client's side. The project commenced in September 2016 and was completed by August 2017, with ongoing optimization and maintenance activities. The collaboration was facilitated through a referral from a mutual acquaintance.
