Lavega was hired by Teledyne Flir, a boating electronics company, to provide full stack software developers to assist in completing a variety of software projects. The team at Lavega was chosen for their cultural fit, cost-effectiveness, and previous successful collaborations. The key deliverables included the redevelopment of proprietary software for creating nautical charts, processing vast amounts of GIS data, and making numerous enhancements to the charts. Lavega also played a pivotal role in the completion of an e-commerce project, integrating the nautical chart store with the Zuora platform, SAP, and a custom API backend. They developed workflows for multi-language, multi-currency, and multi-country sales, and significantly revamped user workflows. The company praised Lavega for its support in new development across various projects and for the major UI and backend API changes they implemented.
