Highlights from Recent Projects
Laser Focused Solutions worked with a travel platform to develop an online shop for vendors to sell tourism activities. The project required a ticketing validation and verification system, and the team started with a marketing analysis before developing the system architecture, design, and user design. The platform was built from scratch and integrated with a CRM, a custom Magento platform, and Zoho finance software. The project, which lasted from November 2016 to June 2018, cost $130,000 and involved a team of up to 10 people.
The company also collaborated with a Canadian cannabis dispensary to develop a proof of concept (POC) for an online dispensary. The project involved modifying a WordPress site into an e-commerce platform that met both the client's requirements and Canadian shipping logistics. The platform featured custom code that allowed the client to manage and sell products by the gram. The POC was built within 60 days and cost between $15,000–$20,000 CAD. The client plans to re-engage Laser Focused Solutions for the final product.
In another project, Laser Focused Solutions provided managed IT services for a technology firm. They provided a team to manage after-hours support and escalation, client security, and system requests. They also duplicated the client's cybersecurity intelligence and operations center in Ukraine. The ongoing engagement, which started in February or March 2017, has cost between $300,000–$400,000. The team currently consists of seven or eight people, with plans to add two more by the end of the year.
