Lambda Digital Consulting was contracted by a risk management platform for construction workers and developers after their previous developer went bankrupt and left them with numerous system bugs. The platform aimed to aggregate best practices for risk level monitoring in the construction field, managing about a million best practices through various mobile applications. The challenge for Lambda was to create an overall strategy to address the issues in the code and eliminate the existing bugs. This project involved understanding the app's complex backend, which does predictive analytics for data with about 24 different executive dashboards. After spending a week understanding the various features and three months eliminating the bugs, Lambda was able to largely complete the task, despite a steep learning curve and some minor hiccups. The company spent approximately $100,000 on this engagement which started in March 2017. Lambda continues to provide maintenance for the platform.
