Highlights from Recent Projects
Lakeview Labs was engaged by Little Nugget, a baby photo and milestone app, to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) for testing in the app store. The team at Lakeview Labs collaborated with the client to determine necessary features within a set budget, developed the UX, frontend, and backend of the app for iOS, and launched it in the app store. Key features of the app included individual profiles for parents to create sub-profiles for each of their children and capabilities for users to customize photos with text and artwork layers. The client invested approximately $60,000 in this project which ran from August 2015 to August 2017.
Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) engaged Lakeview Labs to create and manage the ongoing maintenance of their mobile app, which hosts epilepsy research news and allows the nonprofit to share recent discoveries with users. Lakeview Labs was selected for their nimbleness, flexibility, and deep experience in developing and managing mobile apps. The project involved several meetings to discuss the client's needs and expectations, and the vendor was responsible for creating against these requirements. The team at Lakeview Labs consisted of a project manager and developer who worked closely with the client's senior manager of digital marketing.
A subscription media company hired Lakeview Labs to develop a mobile app that would help users find relevant content faster and create a user experience centered around a modern map interface. The client had previously worked with an off-shore team but found communication difficult and the quality of work insufficient. Lakeview Labs was then engaged to primarily build the mobile application, while backend development and design work were done in-house. The client worked with two individuals from Lakeview Labs - a mobile application developer and a project manager.
