Lab3 Apps collaborated with Reactar Labs, an AR product development company, to help bring their vision of homeAR to life. Lab3 Apps was involved from the technical scoping of the designed solution, through initial development and now ongoing development and support. They provided specialist skills and capacity to augment Reactar Labs' in-house development team, supporting all areas of product development including apps, API, back-end, and databases. The project began in November 2018 and has been ongoing, with an investment of $103,000–$172,000 USD so far.

In another project, Lab3 Apps was hired by a literacy training and resource firm to create an alphabet app that two previous companies were unable to do. Lab3 Apps handled all the technical aspects of creating the app, working closely with the client to ensure their vision was realized. The project was completed successfully, with the client expressing satisfaction with the results and planning to work with Lab3 Apps again in the future on another project.

Lab3 Apps also worked with WilliamsWarn NZ Ltd, a brewing hardware manufacturer, to design and build a mobile app for recipe development. The app was intended to help customers calculate their final beer analysis, making it a useful tool for people entering beer competitions or for those who wanted to understand more about beer. Lab3 Apps was selected for this project due to their relationship with a university student who had previously worked with WilliamsWarn. The project involved initial design and layout of the app, building the app, transferring calculations, and testing the app. The client was pleased with the results and appreciated the seamless integration of their existing website design into the app.
