The project, which ran from May 2014 to December 2017, involved a team of three from Lab working closely with the client's in-house team. The technology stack used included React for frontend development, Ruby on Rails for backend, and InVision for design. The client found Lab through a personal network and chose them due to their combined design and development services. The total investment for this project was over $50,000.

In another project, Lab was engaged by a SaaS startup to work on redesigning the main interface of their web application. The project, which lasted from March to December 2020, involved research, design iteration, internal testing, prototyping, external testing, and development work. The team from Lab, which consisted of four people, was chosen for their extensive experience in building companies, software, and products. The total investment for this project was about $100,000.

Lab also worked on a mobile app development and UI/UX design project for Scout Alarm, a DIY wireless home security brand. The project, which ran from March to May 2018, involved designing the mobile app's UX and helping to build the app itself. Lab worked in tandem with the client's in-house engineering team, providing a detailed proposal based on the scoped discussion, and delivering the final product after a series of tests and tweaks. The initial project cost was around $40,000–$50,000, and Lab has since been engaged for smaller projects.
