Lab collaborated with Scout Alarm, a DIY wireless home security brand, to design and build the future of their end-user application for iOS and Android. They were involved in designing the mobile app's UX and building the app itself, working closely with Scout Alarm's in-house engineering team. The project was completed between March and May 2018, with the initial project costing around $40,000-$50,000. Lab's work was well-received, and they have since worked with Scout Alarm on smaller projects.

In another project, Lab provided web design and development support to a software service provider within the relocation industry. The technology stack consisted of React on the frontend, Ruby on Rails in the backend, and InVision for design. The partnership lasted from May 2014 to December 2017, with three members from Lab assisting the company. Over $50,000 was invested in this engagement, and their dual expertise in design and development made them a good fit for the project.

Another project saw Lab working with a SaaS startup to redesign the main interface of their web application. This involved research, design iteration, internal testing, prototyping, external testing, and some development work over a period of 6-9 months, from March to December 2020. The project cost approximately $100,000. Lab's extensive experience in building companies, software, and products, along with their high design understanding and quick iteration capabilities, were key factors in their selection for the project.
