Kirsta Kärki was engaged by Marimekko, a Finnish lifestyle design company, to accomplish various branding exercises. Marimekko, known for its unique colors and prints, offers a range of products including clothing and home decor, and sought the help of Kirsta Kärki for visual identity design, art direction, and planning of marketing campaigns. In response, Kirsta Kärki offered distinct branding solutions, including but not limited to, art direction for different season campaigns, launching an interactive digital experience for Marimekko's 70th anniversary, and revamping outlet identities. This multi-year collaboration began in January 2021 and ended in December 2025.

Krista Kärki's involvement spanned across Marimekko's various visual and branding projects, from concept development to final execution. Eidetic synergy was achieved through collaboration with Marimekko's head of content and the commitment of Krista Kärki's single dedicated teammate. Fusing high-quality craftsmanship with meticulous attention to detail, they reimagined a visual identity for the Field of Flowers tour and provided a new art direction for the Marimekko brand film. They were also instrumental in delivering 360° roll-outs for the Spring/Summer and Holiday campaigns.

Marimekko's investment in Krista Kärki's services, although undisclosed, saw them deliver noteworthy results throughout the four year span.
