Komkor Service

Komkor Service was hired by the Department of Tourism, Culture and Promotion of Skole City Council to redesign their mobile app. The council sought to update the app's interface and expand its features to transform it into a comprehensive digital guide for both residents and tourists. The project included migrating the app to a newer platform and developing an admin panel for content management and push notifications. The team at Komkor Service, which consisted of 2-5 employees, completely overhauled the design and navigation of the app. They expanded the "Tourist" section with new categories, photos, map routes, ratings, nearby attractions, and detailed descriptions. The homepage was updated with an interactive slider, a community overview, and suggested routes. Additionally, the map was improved with new filters and search functionality, and new pages featuring weather updates and a currency converter were added. The choice of Komkor Service for this project was due to a great cultural fit and the company was discovered through a referral.
