Kod Biro was hired by Infodom to create the Nautical Information Service (nIS) mobile application. The application was designed for marine users such as yacht owners, fishermen, divers, and swimmers. The goal of the project was to provide a platform where users could easily provide significant and detailed information to local harbormaster offices and other maritime safety services. The app also aimed to provide relevant safety information for users. The project team consisted of a project manager, a designer, an android developer, an iOS developer, and a tester. The application was developed for both iOS and Android platforms. The client had a target of acquiring over 10,000 users within the first two years of launch, with the ultimate goal of increasing safety and preventing accidents at sea. Project selection was based on a recommendation from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. The application has been successful in achieving its intended purpose and has received positive feedback from users.
