KNM successfully completed a web application migration and development project for Campy B.V., a community platform for campers. The primary objectives of the project were to improve the maintainability, security, and reliability of the platform. KNM was selected for this project due to their company culture, value for cost, and alignment with Campy's values. The project involved the rebuilding of Campy's web application with a streamlined structure, focusing on a marketing-centric homepage while ensuring most features remained in the app for better security and maintainability. The web application was hosted on Firebase for performance and scalability, with App Check implemented for security and Google Cloud integrated for easier maintenance. The core features of the application, including the marketing homepage, login and authentication, profile page, location pages, and map and search functions were all retained and enhanced. The tech stack used for this project included Next.js with Firebase for framework and hosting, Apollo or an alternative for GraphQL integration, and multi-language support and responsive design using Tailwind CSS. The project was completed by one KNM employee. The client was pleased with the results, citing a great culture fit, good value for cost, and alignment with company values as the main reasons for their satisfaction.
