Highlights from Recent Projects
Knectar was engaged by an arts education institution to create a bicentennial website for the online purchase of goods and services amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The company designed the website from scratch, creating a plan from inception to utilization. They also communicated with suppliers and taught the client how to manage the website independently. The project, which ran from March to May 2021, involved a team of three, including a project manager and the president of Knectar, and cost approximately $20,000.
In a project for a nonprofit foundation in the visual arts industry, Knectar was tasked with upgrading the foundation's website to Drupal 9. The company rebuilt the website's structure and backend to mirror the frontend, without altering its appearance. They also developed an API that retrieves information from the foundation's collection management system, eliminating the need for data duplication. The project, which began in October 2020, was led by Knectar's Senior Technical Project Manager, Michael. The updated website is set to launch in August 2021, after which Knectar will provide monthly maintenance.
Knectar worked with a university institute to design and maintain a professional and functional website. The company developed the website on the Drupal platform and provided the client with training on how to update it. They continue to provide annual maintenance and updates as needed. The project was overseen by a single point person from Knectar, chosen by the design team the institute was working with.
