Kivy Software was hired by IDŹCZAK-MEBLE, a furniture manufacturer, to create an app to streamline online order processing. The increasing number of online sales had overwhelmed the company's previous system of using Excel and Google Maps. Kivy Software developed an automatic processing system that tracks orders, logistics, and delivery, and transferred the company's assortment, prices, and colors from the Polish auction portal, Allegro, which they had been using. Additional features like a comments section, instant messaging, and a scheduling column were also added. The project began in June 2018 and is ongoing with Kivy Software continually working on additional features and improvements.
Lab4Motion Solutions, a company that provides services based on image and video recognition systems, engaged Kivy Software for the development of the second generation of their cloud system. The project involved optimizing the source code, writing a new algorithm for recognition, changing the backend of the system, and revamping the UX/UI. Kivy Software developed new endpoints for the system inside the infrastructure, created internal controls for scaling and monitoring the full task, and worked on redoing the UX design of the reporting web service. The project, which ran from May to July 2018, cost $70,000 and the company plans to double that by the end of the year.
