Kilogramme

Kilogramme was hired by the South West Museum Development team to create an educational animation for their Pest Partners project. The project aimed to support museums and heritage organisations in protecting their collections from pest damage during the Covid-19 pandemic. The animation was designed to simplify the complex subject of Integrated Pest Management, making it accessible and less daunting for beginners. The team at Kilogramme worked closely with the client, refining a draft script and incorporating feedback at every stage of the design process. The final product was a 5-minute animation, complete with subtitles, a transcript, and short clips for promotional use.

Kilogramme was selected from a pool of 32 companies after a competitive tender process. They were chosen for their understanding of the project's purpose, their unique animation style, their commitment to accessibility, and their capacity to provide short sections and clips. The company worked directly with Claire and Jon from the South West Museum Development team, who provided feedback throughout the production process. The final animation was well-received, with Kilogramme praised for their imaginative presentation of the subject matter and smooth transitions between stages.
