Kiaer Research was hired by a prepaid inpatient health plan in Michigan to administer a customer satisfaction survey for their services. The survey was part of the contractual obligations the health plan had with the state and was aimed at assessing customers' perception of their services. Kiaer Research was brought on board when the company's previous research firm went out of business. They developed a plan and a budget for the survey which involved a population of 2,000 completed services. The research firm also set up a call center and trained the operators for the survey administration. Additionally, they developed an online survey for customers. After the survey was finished, Kiaer Research handed over the raw data to the health plan, tabulated the results, and provided an analysis of the outcomes. The project, which cost around $33,000, started in October 2020 and was completed in January 2021.
