Karana Audio Visual Services, LLC was hired by Hilton Americas Houston for a video production project. The Director of Sales & Marketing at Hilton wanted to update their video content to showcase the hotel's ability to operate safe meetings in a physical distancing environment. Karana was recommended by Hilton's in-house audio visual company, PSAV. The process entailed a detailed discussion of the project needs, followed by a walkthrough and the actual shoot. Anabelle Roman from Karana was the main point of contact and she managed the process seamlessly from start to finish.
In another project, Karana Audio Visual Services, LLC was contracted by an elementary PTA group for event production and AV services. The treasurer of the PTA, who had been in the position for four years, sought Karana's services for their monthly events with parents. Karana's responsibilities included ensuring sound and production quality for movie nights and the annual talent show among other events. The PTA came to work with Karana after meeting the owners, Jose and Annabelle, who have children at the elementary school, at a PTA meeting. Since October 2016, the PTA has invested a total of $5,000–$6,000 in their services.
