Kalapa Design Studio

Kalapa Design Studio was hired by Fitcoin Inc to work on user interface, user experience, design, and branding guidelines for their move-to-earn project. The project aimed to tokenize players' calorie burn in an interactive RPG Web3 education game. The scope of work included creating a UI kit and brand guidelines, designing various flows such as log-in, dashboard, player profiles, blockchain and wallet, NFT design, leaderboards interface, and player challenges. The client found Kalapa Design Studio through an online search, referral, and LinkedIn outreach, choosing them for their great culture fit and aligned company values. The project involved 2-5 employees from Kalapa Design Studio.

A small probate and estate law group hired Kalapa Design Studio to redesign their outdated website. The goal was to make their website stand out and provide insight into their services. The selection of Kalapa Design Studio was based on recommendations from friends and associates. The scope of work was discussed with Chris, a founder and design director of Kalapa Design Studio, who handled the technical side of the project, provided valuable suggestions, and updated the attorneys' bios and contact links.

Kalapa Design Studio was tasked by a Chicago-based software company to design and build a landing page and an application. The selection of the vendor was based on a referral and a review of their prior work. The project was conducted in a series of discovery meetings and weekly follow-ups to finalize the copy and designs. In total, four people from Kalapa Design Studio worked with the software company on this project.
