Highlights from Recent Projects
Kaizen Softworks collaborated with a fitness company to design and build a native app focused on daily programming for its extensive user base of over 100,000. The project, which took over two years, involved Kaizen's expertise in engineering and project management. They worked through various phases of discovery, strategy, design, build, testing, and launch. The team size varied between 5-10 members depending on the project phase, with primary roles including front-end and back-end development and project management.
Kaizen Softworks partnered with Digi International, an IoT and hardware company, to expand its development team and roll out several mobile applications. Using React Native, Kaizen's team of 7-8 members developed apps with features such as enabling users to set up stores and apply equipment, connecting to a temperature monitor, and displaying incidents when certain thresholds were broken. The engagement, which started in January 2019, is ongoing, with the apps being made available for both Android and iOS platforms.
Kaizen Softworks was engaged by an e-commerce company specializing in the furniture industry to help move parts of a monolithic application to the cloud. Working with a team of five, Kaizen developed microservices and assisted with frontend Angular architecture. The company praised Kaizen's flexibility, ability to operate within their workflows, and low cost of bringing the team up to speed. The collaboration, which began in January 2019, is set to continue into 2020.
