Highlights from Recent Projects
Julasoft was contracted by the Foreign Affairs Department of the Argentine Government to rewrite an outdated internal communications system. The company conducted a full technical-functional analysis to establish the requirements for the new system. The project was divided into six steps, each with a deadline and a deliverable, all of which were met on time. The team from Julasoft consisted of seven members, including a project leader, two senior functional analysts, a software architect, a database administrator, a software engineer, and an information security specialist. The project was successful and met all technical requirements.
In another project, Julasoft worked with Fundación Ciudad Inclusiva, a non-profit organization, to develop an interactive geolocated map to assist victims of gender violence. The aim was to strengthen the institutional capacities of local actors in responding to gender violence and preventing femicide. The project was initiated with a meeting to align expectations and set goals. The Julasoft team, consisting of a project manager and two programmers, delivered several drafts before the final product, making adjustments as necessary. The project was successful in meeting its objectives.
Julasoft also developed a platform for the Argentinian national agency for the promotion of science, technology, and innovation, Agencia I+D+I. The platform was designed to anonymize the identities of individuals submitting proposals for various contests. The project had a tight deadline of 90 days. Julasoft's team of six, including their president, developed the platform and its UI/UX components, handled hosting for the first contest, and deployed the software to the agency's equipment. The project cost $15,000 and was completed successfully within the given timeframe.
