Journai

Journai was hired by Jay Music Academy to develop a custom mobile application. The aim was to support consistent practice, provide structured learning materials, and track individual progress of students. Additionally, the app was expected to streamline teacher-student communication and automate attendance tracking. Journai was selected based on high ratings, budget-friendly pricing, a good cultural fit, and value for cost. The team from Journai, comprising 2-5 employees, designed and deployed a fully functional app compatible with iOS and Android devices. The app featured an intuitive user interface, interactive practice tracking, access to learning modules, and an automated attendance system. The project also included the creation of user roles and access management system, a web-based admin dashboard, and custom UI/UX design aligned with the academy's identity. Post-launch, Journai provided basic onboarding and user training for staff and offered continued technical support for maintenance and future upgrades. The project was successful, achieving its primary objectives of enhancing student engagement, supporting at-home practice, and streamlining internal processes.
