Highlights from Recent Projects
JIG Technologies was hired by Casatank Realty to design, develop, and deploy a new online portal. The goal of the project was to deliver a CRM management system tailored for real estate agents and an online housing search portal for buyers. The CRM system was integrated with VOW and IDX TREB data feeds, allowed for online property searches, and facilitated communication between buyers and brokers. It also provided a full-featured CRM system for brokers, with full integration with agents' email, SMS, and cell service, along with a customizable email marketing system and client activity tracking. The technologies used were PHP Laravel, MySQL, Twilio, Nylas, and Treb VOW/IDX. The project was successfully completed with a team of seven from JIG Technologies, including a project manager, technical architect, developers, UX designer, and a graphic designer.
In another project, a manufacturing company engaged JIG Technologies to develop a centralized ERP system to manage all aspects of their overseas production. The system, built from scratch using Ruby on Rails, eliminated the need for paperwork and Excel spreadsheets and provided a platform for entering sales orders and quotes. It also facilitated communication with Chinese manufacturers, tracked logistics, and allowed for product designing and order building online. After a few years of partnership, JIG Technologies took over all IT needs of the company, including hardware purchase and setup, and provided both on-site and off-site services. The team consisted of 3-4 developers, an architect, and about 10 rotating teammates for IT management. The partnership, which began in January 2012, continues to date.
