Highlights from Recent Projects
JazzServe was hired by iKnow, an English school, to create a platform for teacher-student interaction. The initial version of the platform was developed for one-on-one video calls, with a group video call feature currently in development. iKnow's main point of contact was Eugene, the CEO of JazzServe, and the team consisted of six people. The project began in January 2019 and is ongoing, with iKnow having invested $200,000 so far. iKnow chose JazzServe after interviewing several companies and finding them the most comfortable to work with.
Percona, a database platform, engaged JazzServe to assist with extra work. JazzServe was tasked with three independent tasks related to the engineering of Kubernetes operators. They also worked on embedding point-in-time recovery for MongoDB operators and the prevention of unsafe behavior of Kubernetes operator. The CEO of JazzServe initially spoke with Percona, then delegated the work to the lead developer, who mentored two other team members on the project. The project started in mid-February 2021 and was completed in April 2021, with a total investment of $3,600.
JazzServe was hired by a database performance company to work on their web-based database performance monitoring tool, Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM). The goal was to create a way to export data from the customer's PMM instance and import it to the company's local instances. The solution was developed in the Go language, with the project divided into several stages: alpha for the working prototype, beta for the full feature set, RC for fixing minor bugs, and GA for delivering the final product. The project is currently in the RC stage. The team from JazzServe included managers and two senior developers.
