JAS Business Systems was contracted by G4S Qatar, a security services company, to provide outsourcing work for their electronic security system department and implementation of their data centers. The main focus was on networking, server and system implementation, and procurement of ERP systems. The relationship began in 2007 and is ongoing, with an investment between $200,000 to $1 million. The team is primarily in touch with a couple of people per department, including sales, the network side, and the server supply side.
In a project with a major construction company in Qatar, JAS Business Systems was hired to provide IT business solutions related to software, network, cabling, and staff outsourcing. The goal was to finish on time, meet employer requirements, and optimize spending. JAS was responsible for delivering the network active and passive components inside the company's end-user offices to accommodate 500 seats. The team consisted of one project manager and six staff from JAS, and one representative from the client side.
Brunel, a company offering end-to-end recruitment solutions, hired JAS Business Systems as a consultant for IT and infrastructure for their new office setup. JAS was selected through a closed tender process and was among the final three vendors or consultants shortlisted. The project involved removal or modification of all existing MEP & ELV systems, installation or modification of CAT 6 structured cabling, electrical & lighting systems, new HVAC systems, and supply of computers, thin clients, laptops. JAS appointed two project leads for the consultation and implementation.
