JAKT

JAKT collaborated with a private tutoring organization to develop a student resource website. The site was designed to help students set goals, organize tasks, and track their grades. The project was initiated when the client's former development company announced they would no longer support the platform on which the former site had been built. JAKT was chosen due to their understanding of the client's design aims. The total development cost was $300,000. The collaboration has been ongoing for two years and the platform is user-driven, allowing students to input and utilize information in a personalized way.

For a consumer social startup, JAKT was hired to build out several core features for an iOS app and update the screens with new branding. The goal was to revise the look and feel of the beta app to prepare it for the market. The vendor was selected through an interview process and review of work samples. JAKT developed sketch files and designs for more than 80 screens in the app and organized the company's entire design-to-development workflow. The team consisted of a UI/UX designer, a supporting designer, a project manager, and a proof of concept manager.

MapFit, a mapping provider, enlisted the help of JAKT to establish their branding and product look and feel. The scope of JAKT's involvement included providing logo and branding services, developing a brand-new website, and designing the look and feel of the website, including color schemes and user experience. JAKT's team was composed of a product manager, a designer, and a couple of developers. The engagement, which began in November 2016, is ongoing and has expanded to include a new project.
