Highlights from Recent Projects
jācapps was hired by a broadcast company to develop their "Where Hip-Hop Lives" mobile application for both iOS and Android. The app, which includes two of the company's top radio brands and streaming components, was developed for both domestic and international distribution. The project was completed within an aggressive timeline of seven weeks. The client praised jācapps for their understanding of live streaming and their quick and nimble approach.
Super Radio Media Group contracted jācapps to create a mobile app that housed all their company-owned internet radio stations. The app, which was to be simple and user-friendly, was designed to market the growing personality internet radio audience. jācapps developed a player for nine or more internet-only radio stations, incorporating the main radio stream of each station as well as side content such as podcasts, web articles, promotions, and region-specific advertising. The project was handled by a team of four from jācapps.
Relevant Radio, a talk-radio network for the Catholic life, engaged jācapps to create an app that would serve as a useful tool for people to further their listening. The app, which started with the V3 version of jācapps’ solution, was later switched to the V4 platform to offer more features and a more dynamic experience for users. Unique features of the app include a Pray Resources menu with audio recordings of varying lengths and a function called Confession Helper. The client commended jācapps for their great work and continues to work with them.
