Iron Range Cyber

Iron Range Cyber was engaged by South Arkansas Community College to bolster their cybersecurity measures. The college was experiencing an increase in brute force password attempts and needed a trusted partner to help manage the situation. Iron Range Cyber conducted a penetration test, set up monitoring for core servers, performed audits, and made recommendations for security improvements. They also facilitated off-site backup for the college's core servers. The team, including several security analysts and the Chief Technology Officer, worked closely with the college to ensure a comprehensive security solution.

In another project, Iron Range Cyber provided cybersecurity services for a two-year public community college in Arkansas. The college needed assistance with their cybersecurity operations and Iron Range Cyber was recommended by their enterprise vendor. The team carried out information security and privacy awareness training, audit management, continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and remediation of system issues. They also developed intrusion detection systems and implemented a cloud-based backup and disaster recovery solution. The work began in June 2021 and is ongoing, with the college investing between $25,000 and $42,000 in the project. The team, including the CTO and a technical officer, have been working closely with the college to ensure their cybersecurity needs are met.
