Iron Range Cyber

Iron Range Cyber was contracted by South Arkansas Community College to assist with their cybersecurity needs. The college had been experiencing a significant increase in brute force password attempts, stretching their in-house staff thin. Iron Range Cyber, selected due to a longstanding professional relationship with one of the company's principal officers, performed a penetration test, set up core server monitoring, conducted server audits, and made several recommendations to enhance the college's security profile. Additionally, they facilitated offsite backup for the core servers. The project involved the active participation of several security analysts and the Chief Technology Officer from Iron Range Cyber.

In a separate project, Iron Range Cyber provided cybersecurity services to another community college in Arkansas. The college needed extensive help in cybersecurity, leading to their engagement with Iron Range Cyber. The team carried out information security and privacy awareness training, managed audits, and worked on the college's cybersecurity operations center. They also implemented continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, remediated system issues, developed intrusion detection systems, and provided instant incident management and response. Moreover, they implemented a cloud-based backup and disaster recovery solution. The project, which commenced in June 2021, involved the Chief Technology Officer and a technical officer from Iron Range Cyber's side and cost between $25,000-$42,000.
