Highlights from Recent Projects
IrishApps was contracted by Snapfix Limited, a B2B startup, to develop an application for both Android and iOS. The project started with creating a detailed specification of over 100 pages, followed by a working prototype that was refined based on feedback from 20 companies. The application was then developed for Android and iOS, with Amazon Web Services and Google used in the backend. The startup founder was impressed with IrishApps' understanding of the project requirements and their focus on testing. The relationship, which started in the first quarter of 2016, is ongoing with another 18 months of work planned.
IrishApps developed an Android and iOS app for a company that monitors exercise equipment. The app measures muscle force and tracks the strength and difference between muscles. The data from the equipment is wirelessly transferred onto a user’s device every 200 milliseconds for scientific testing. The managing director of the company chose IrishApps because they quickly understood the product and made beneficial suggestions. The relationship, which started over 2 ½ years ago, is ongoing with continuous updates to the app to meet customer requirements.
Barna Recycling, a major waste and recycling provider in Ireland, hired IrishApps to design an Android and iOS application to enhance customer communication. The app was designed to be simple to use as many of their users aren’t technically apt. IrishApps designed the UI, functionalities, and features, and also helped with testing and tweaking. The director of IT at Barna Recycling was impressed with IrishApps' tech-savvy solutions and their ability to meet all the set criteria in terms of pricing, scope, and timelines. The project, which started in March 2016, was completed in a month, with another project started in November 2016 and finalized in 2017.
