IOTRIC was hired by Augmate, an AR/VR Device Management Firm, to develop a SaaS platform for managing digital eyewear and mobile device management on smart glasses. The project team, consisting of 6-10 employees, delivered the Augmate Wearable Environment Manager (WEM) portal, a centralized platform for device and user management, security, policies, and over-the-air application deployments. The WEM portal has significantly enhanced the ability of enterprise IT to securely deploy and manage smart glasses and other wearables, integrate them into existing infrastructure, and enroll new devices with ease and confidence.
IOTRIC was engaged by MC5, an identity management and VR module development company, for custom software development. The project involved developing a VR device management platform, an identity management development platform, and a decentralized domain name creation platform, all built from scratch. The team, which varied in size depending on requirements, used key technologies such as Node.js and MongoDB. The project, which started in January 2018 and is ongoing, has resulted in a content creation, distribution, and device management platform that allows MC5 to control end-user devices effectively.
