Inwedo

Inwedo was hired by an engineering consultancy firm to maintain and improve their in-house project management software. The software, which is integral to tracking budgets, progress, and resources, was handed over to Inwedo for regular maintenance and the development of new features. The vendor was chosen after a lengthy tender process which highlighted their team's experience and client approach. The core team from Inwedo consisted of two developers and one product owner. The project's initial challenge was to familiarize themselves with the existing system and stabilize all system connections. The system was built with .NET and SQL databases, and was connected to financial systems, time tracking systems, and employee databases.

Inwedo was engaged by a B2B food production company to develop a custom software solution. The company, which produces ready-to-eat salad vegetables for various markets and businesses, needed a fast, simple software to aid in making business decisions more quickly. Inwedo developed a tool that analyzes daily orders every minute and proposes decisions to make production faster. The project was divided into several phases, which included the creation of an online platform, the development of a 'brain' to analyze and deliver data, and the development of extra options for recalculating the production plan. The project team consisted of 3-5 people, including a project manager, IT professionals, a QA person, and a graphic designer. The project, which started in February 2020, is ongoing.

A building security and automation company engaged Inwedo for staff augmentation. The company, which deals with alarm and monitoring services for various verticals, needed a flexible resourcing model to accommodate the variable nature of their software engineering efforts. Inwedo provided a core team of resources and brought in additional consultants as needed. The team from Inwedo helped with a greenfield project to replace a legacy technology, using .NET for the backend, Angular for the frontend, SQL Server and MongoDB for the databases, and PowerShell for integration testing.
