Highlights from Recent Projects
Inwedo completed a custom software development project for a B2B food production company. The food company needed a fast, simple tool to aid in making business decisions quickly due to their ultra-fresh category, which requires quick rotation in warehouses and fast order fulfillment. Inwedo developed a tool that continuously analyzes daily orders and suggests decisions to expedite production. The project was executed in four phases and involved team members from both sides including project managers, IT specialists, a QA person, and a graphic designer. The project, which started in February 2020, was completed successfully and the food production company reported great satisfaction with the results.
Inwedo also provided staff augmentation services for a building security and automation company. The company needed a flexible resourcing model as its software engineering efforts varied. Inwedo provided a core team of resources to assist in projects and brought in additional consultants as needed. They helped replace a legacy technology with a new technology stack including .NET, Angular, SQL Server, MongoDB and PowerShell. The engagement started in March 2020 and has grown to include product and project management support for certain projects. The client reported a strong working relationship with Inwedo.
In addition, Inwedo was hired by an engineering company to maintain and develop new features for their in-house project management software. The software is used to track budgets, progress, and resources on all their projects. The first step involved understanding the existing system, which was not well documented, and learning how the engineering company operated. The next phase involved stabilizing all system connections and beginning to work on existing bugs and tasks. The system is .NET built with SQL databases, connected to internal Active Directory and several XML connections. The engagement was successful and the company appreciated Inwedo's team experience and client approach.
