Intrepid (acquired by Accenture)

Intrepid collaborated with a Cambridge-based energy monitoring startup to enhance the user experience of their mobile application. The startup's app uses machine learning to track and display energy consumption patterns of various household devices. Intrepid's three-day design sprint involved brainstorming sessions and the development of UX wireframes using Sketch. The project was completed in a week in February 2017, with the final output and documentation delivered in a PDF.

In another project, Intrepid partnered with a digital healthcare company based in Boston to develop an MVP for their service, which involved both web and mobile applications. The mobile app, built for iOS, interfaces with hardware to securely transmit readings to a web monitoring portal. The web app was developed using Ruby on Rails. The project, which cost over $250,000, started in November 2016 and continued until June 2016, by which time around 90% of the project goals were achieved. Intrepid then assisted the company in transitioning to an in-house engineering team.

Intrepid also worked with a network for small business owners to design a mobile application. The company wanted to incorporate native features such as messaging into their web platform to drive engagement. Intrepid was tasked with integrating high-engagement features from the mobile platform into the web app. The project, which cost between $50,000 and $100,000, started in 2016 and was completed within a few months.
