Highlights from Recent Projects
InsaneLab completed a project for Learnaboutgmp.com, an online life science training provider for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. The initial objective was to create an online community and integrate it into a WordPress front-end, which houses all of the training courses. After several iterations, the two platforms were successfully consolidated into one, making it easier for users to navigate, find information, sign up for courses, and make payments through a Stripe system. Over the four to five year engagement, InsaneLab was praised for their responsiveness, quality of work, and their capability to handle a 'living' project.
For LiveHelpNow, a helpdesk SaaS provider, InsaneLab designed a WordPress blog within two weeks. This fast and efficient service was achieved without requiring much input from the client, demonstrating InsaneLab’s ability to understand and deliver on a brief efficiently. The firm has continued to work on multiple other projects with InsaneLab, including development projects using Elixir, Perl, and .NET. The total cost of In'saneLab’s services for LiveHelpNow was around $250,000.
InsaneLab worked with a social networking company for mothers, which needed to rewrite their Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android apps using Xamarin to manage duplicate codebase issues. InsaneLab performed a complete rewrite of the frontend using Xamarin Native and created a custom-built chat backend using .NET. They also set up the hosting environment in Microsoft Azure. InsaneLab was chosen for their presentation on the benefits of MvvmCross and Refit and their commitment to finding the most efficient approach to projects. The work started in April 2018 and the Xamarin version of the app is expected to be deployed soon. The company has spent approximately $40,000 with InsaneLab so far.
