Inovi was hired by OnSight Technology, a company that utilizes robotics and artificial intelligence to inspect utility-scale solar power facilities. The goal was to accelerate computer vision algorithm development and develop automated data infrastructure. Inovi was chosen due to their high ratings, affordable pricing, and company values that aligned with OnSight Technology. A single employee from Inovi was assigned to this project. They developed detection models for identifying different components and an automated data infrastructure that included data lake architecture, labeling, training, and deployment.

Inovi also worked with Vue Robotics, a company that uses AI-powered weather and visual observation technology to monitor changing conditions on roadways, construction sites, and in the ongoing facility maintenance of existing assets. The objective was to create a machine learning model to detect snow accumulation and precipitation, and to build a foundation for future machine learning models. Inovi was chosen for their proximity to Vue Robotics, their affordable pricing, and their good value for cost. A team of 2-5 employees from Inovi was assigned to this project. They developed a solution that uses a network of cameras to detect various kinds of precipitation using computer vision, detect the accumulation of precipitation, and deployed the solution to provide up-to-date information for customers.
