Ingenious

Ingenious was hired by PAES Scan, an educational curriculum company for students with special needs, to rescue and deploy a mobile and web app development project. The project had initially been started with a large US firm, then migrated to an individual developer. Ingenious was brought in and successfully merged branches and organized the project, enabling the timely launch of the mobile and web applications. The team of 2-5 employees was chosen for their good value for cost, referral, and alignment of company values.

Ingenious was contracted by Steritas LLC, a healthcare and scientific research company, to build a software stack that digitized their offerings. Ingenious created a web application, handling all design and development for the digital project. The backend was built using Python and FastAPI, the web app was developed with React, and the cloud solution used Bitbucket, GitHub, Docker, AWS, EC2, and RDS. The team of 4-6 members also worked on project management and proxy product ownership. Their work made the suite of digital instruments more accessible and easy to use, and the project was praised for its new methods of integration and efficiency.

Ingenious was also engaged by an e-learning company for staff augmentation services for engineering tasks. They provided full stack engineers to contribute across the entire platform, with experience in Ruby on Rails, Angular, React, Elasticsearch, and Android and iOS development. Ingenious provided two engineers full-time, and part-time support as needed from a DevOps engineer, a designer, and a project manager. This was the company's first time working with non-local developers, and Ingenious helped establish new procedures and practices for team collaboration. The engagement began in April 2019 and is ongoing.
