Highlights from Recent Projects
Infocus Business Technology worked with Sodexo, the number two world leader in employee experience, to develop a business intelligence dashboard. The goal was to improve decision-making through better data quality and ingestion. Infocus was chosen for its competitive pricing and strong referrals, with a team of 2-5 employees working on the project. Deliverables included surveying, analyzing, and specifying requirements, designing and constructing the solution, conducting tests and adjustments, managing the project, and providing technology transfer and end-user training.
For Agesic, a government agency promoting digital transformation of government, Infocus Business Technology implemented an advanced Business Intelligence system. The system was developed to evaluate and monitor main projects and initiatives. Infocus was selected for its proven experience with other projects at Agesic and other government agencies. The project saw the incorporation of indicators and data from different sources within the organization, adjusting other information-generating systems, and producing strategic information for timely decision-making. The vendor's team comprised of a business analyst, a systems engineer, and a development specialist with the Pentaho tool.
Infocus Business Technology was hired by an investment firm to develop and maintain a consolidated database for the company's information. The database was created using Pentaho, with two Infocus team members working directly on the project. The firm chose Infocus after interviewing several local companies in Uruguay, stating that Infocus offered the best solution and close support they were looking for. The initial investment for the project was between $5,000–$7,000 USD, with ongoing monthly investments ranging from $300–$1,000 USD. The partnership started in 2019 and is still ongoing.
