INDUSTRIA

Industria was hired by Finteum, a financial services company, to develop the first version of their trading platform for banks. The goal was to create the base functionality for the platform's central limit order book, including both front-end and back-end components. The company chose Industria due to their reputation as a leading partner for building Corda solutions. The project involved the use of R3's Corda technology, with the back-end written in Kotlin and the front-end in Javascript. The Industria team comprised two back-end engineers, two front-end engineers, a UX/UI designer, a project manager, and a relationship manager.

Industria was contracted by PowerRegistry, a blockchain-enabled platform, to develop and code their software. The company needed a trusted partner to bring their vision to life and found Industria through an industry Slack channel. The project entailed designing and developing a distributed ledger platform to track and trace ownership of renewable energy certificates (RECS), using R3’s Corda platform. The Industria team, including a project manager, an agile project manager, a senior developer, two junior developers, and a UX & Art Director, delivered the project on time and on budget.

Sweetbridge, an automation machinery company, engaged Industria to provide DLT consulting and development services on the R3 Corda platform. The company was working on two projects in partnership with a UK Innovation agency, one in the domain of Risks and Insurances and the other in the domain of Food/Sandwiches. The first project was successfully completed, while the second is still ongoing. Industria was recommended by R3, and they became an integral part of Sweetbridge's R&D teams. The projects, co-funded in the context of UK innovation initiatives, were budgeted at approximately $2.6 million USD and $5.2 million USD respectively.
