Indicium

Indicium was hired by Unimed Vale do Sinos, a healthcare company, to modernize their data infrastructure. The project involved creating a system that allowed for instant access to necessary information for data-based decision making. After interviewing six companies, Indicium was selected based on the clarity of their services and clear objectives. The project began with interviews to identify needs, followed by data extraction, conceptual modeling of the Data Warehouse, data transformation, and organization of DL/DW. The project was successful, and the client was pleased with the work of the seven Indicium professionals involved.

Indicium was contracted by VAAS, a leading Compliance, Anti-Fraud, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) company, to create a Datalake that supports the storage, processing, and analysis of blockchain data. They were also tasked with designing and implementing an efficient SQL-based data analysis system, building a robust data infrastructure for blockchain data ingestion and processing, and creating custom crawlers for data extraction from multiple sources. Indicium's team of 6-10 employees successfully delivered on all fronts, impressing the client with their deep understanding of data architecture and pipeline development.

Stellar Development Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting the development and growth of the open-source Stellar Network, hired Indicium for data migration and fraud analysis services. The specific goals included BI dashboarding, migrating legacy ETL code to dbt, fraud estimation and analysis, and GCP solutions architecture audit and cost reduction. Indicium’s team of 2-5 employees successfully completed the major data warehouse migration and modernized the current data architecture. The team also helped with data verification and validation, data model enhancements, data quality monitoring and alerting, and improving ci/cd processes. The client appreciated Indicium's recommendations and training on the use of new tools.
