ImagineX Consulting was hired by a software services firm to develop a solution that could replace Excel calculations. The company's CEO discovered ImagineX through an online search and was impressed by their proven track record, particularly a similar platform they had built in the healthcare sector. The project involved converting Excel calculations into scalable algorithms to create a tool for the sales team. This involved creating an application from an Excel sheet, designing an interface for salespeople, and providing an output that would generate projections based on the calculations. The solution was primarily built using Python. The ImagineX team consisted of a scrum master, four full-stack developers, a product owner, and an SDET. They continued to operate and maintain the solution after the first version was built.
