Illuminea was hired by CannaTech, a global medical cannabis event company, to redesign their website. The marketing director of CannaTech sought a quick upgrade of the site's visuals, features, and functionality to match their competitors. The goal was to have a template-based website for easy creation of new sites/pages for future events and to be user-friendly enough for the company to make updates on their own. Illuminea was selected as the vendor based on a friend's recommendation and after the marketing director evaluated the work portfolios of several other vendors. The project began with a detailed creative brief outlining CannaTech's needs. Illuminea surveyed competitors' sites and other admired event sites, then worked closely with CannaTech to decide on the desired features and functionality within time and financial constraints. The team consisted of the marketing director and an in-house martech support person from CannaTech.
