The project's goals were to enhance the site's visuals, features, and functionality with a quick turnaround time. Illuminea was selected based on a friend's referral and after evaluating the work portfolios of numerous other vendors. The project began with a well-detailed creative brief outlining CannaTech's needs, followed by a survey of competitors' sites and other admired event sites. Working closely with Aviva from illuminea, the company was able to outline desired features and functionality, making decisions within the constraints of time and budget. The team consisted of the marketing director from CannaTech and an in-house martech support person.
