Idea Box

Idea Box developed an enhanced Learning Management System (LMS) for a mental health services organization. The new clinical tool aimed to improve the effectiveness of the treatment being delivered. The web application housed various psychological evidence-based activities and allowed users to create profiles. It also included services such as pulse checks and fact sheets. The project was divided into several stages, starting with the backend setup and culminating in testing and resolving issues. The website is hosted on AWS. The project, which ran from July 2021 to March 2022, had an investment of approximately $76,500 USD.

For Western Sydney University, Idea Box rebuilt a mobile application that helps people manage their moods through music. The application, built from scratch for iOS and Android, integrated with Spotify, allowing users to rate each song's effect on their mood. Songs that improved a user's mood were added to a personalized feel-better playlist. The app also tracked moods over time and asked users questions based on their behavior to help them understand their psychological responses to music. The partnership, which began in January 2021, had an investment of approximately $64,000 USD.

Idea Box was hired by an educational mobile application provider to develop a mobile app aimed at making parents' and teachers' lives easier regarding homework. They created a development plan and the application's flow, designed the app, and delivered an app for iOS and Android. They also created an admin website for data entry required for the app. The team, which mainly worked with five Idea Box members, started the project at the beginning of 2021 and developed the app in six months with an investment of approximately $167,000 USD.
